OUR COMMUNITY GUIDELINES.
Welcome to our Code of Conduct, here we outline the community guidelines and principles for civil and harmonious interactions. We’re all here to accomplish the same goals, and we need your help to keep this community strong and useful.
These guidelines were created to ensure that together we’re creating a place that’s welcoming, inclusive, and valuable for everyone.
With that in mind, we ask that you keep these principles in mind when you post, comment and interact with fellow members.
Please be kind and constructive when you add a new post, ask a question, or comment on someone else’s contribution. We encourage critical thinking and allow creative conflict, as long as it’s respectful. Snark or spam will be deleted immediately.
We love it when our members share links and resources. If you do, add some commentary or give us some context so that we can understand more about why you care about this particular topic or article.
SHOW YOURSELF, AND SHOW UP!
Please add a picture to your online profile and use your full name. We are a community built on trust and honesty, so in order to trust each other, you need to show who you are.
During our online interactions, please turn on your video or at least add your picture so we can feel more comfortable talking to you, this also reduces miscommunication.
If you RSVP to our events, please show up or make sure to withdraw to make space for others, as spots are limited. Also, don’t come late; we cannot admit you after 15min being in session, to keep the experience great for the people who showed up on time.
Moreover, be aware that some sessions are video recorded so other members from different time zones have the chance to review the experience. By joining the sessions, you agree on the latter.
MORE KNOWLEDGE SHARING, LESS “EXPERT” ADVICE.
There are plenty of places online where we can dole out our expert opinions. We want to instead foster an environment where healthy debate is encouraged and everyone is celebrated for sharing their questions, stories, and perspectives. Our goal is to tackle big questions of the future and work together to discover all of the potential answers. That can only happen when we are committed to collaboration and true knowledge sharing.
DO PROMOTE, DON’T SPAM!
Feel free to share your knowledge, experiences and work with the others here in this community, but please do not spam or over-promote yourself.
DO YOU HAVE QUESTIONS? WE’RE HERE.
If you see a post in the feed the violates these guidelines, flag it! Our Community Hosts will step in to contact the member privately or remove the offending post.
Thanks for helping us making FUTURES SPACE a safe and comfortable environment.
